This is a list of websites I think are cool, interesting, or worth a visit for whatever reason.

Webcomics/Novels:

Stand Still Stay Silent

Probably my favourite comic ever. A fairly lighthearted story about an underprepared expedition venturing through post-apocalyptic Scandanavia. I really like how it tows the line between cute and horrifying, it's a rare mix. Unfortunately the second part got cut short due to changes in the author/illustrator's life, but the first part still works perfectly on its own.

Worm

The most imaginative and believable take on superheroes I have ever seen. It's about a girl with the power to control bugs, who gets involved with a supervillain team. The sheer creativity found in the powers, setting, and fight scenes will make you annoyed at every other piece of superhero fiction ever. Starts slow but gets quicker. Note: Worm is long. Approximately as long as "A Song of Ice and Fire", or 2.5 Bibles.

Ample Time

Furry yuri goodness.

The Rock Cocks

A very cute ongoing comic about a couple quitting their shit jobs to become very openly sexual rockstars, struggling against poverty and puritanism. Probably the best bit of smut I've ever read, so much so that "smut" feels like underselling it. Stories so explicitly about sex and sexuality are rare, and good ones are rarer, so it brings me joy that a comic like this can exist.

Free Stuff:

Krita

My art program of choice.

VLC

The world's greatest video player. Also does music.

Apache OpenOffice

My document editor of choice. Basically Microsoft Office but free and less stupid.

Miscellaneous:

Raiders

Black and white cut of Raider's of the Lost Ark with all the sound replaced with a score by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. Intended as a study of staging, but it's actually extremely watchable, barring a single dialogue-heavy scene near the start. Kino.

Sadgrl

Very useful resource for learning how to build websites.

Anchors

An anchor is a device, normally made of metal, used to secure a vessel to the bed of a body of water to prevent the craft from drifting due to wind or current.
