PSIOHEMATIC: STAGE 1

Overview

Primarily controlled by Daemons, few traces of greenrot exist across most of the Eastern Continent. The land is scarred by industry; vast mines, processing plants, and factories stretch far into the horizon. Beyond it lay Daemon cities, vast and utterly void of life. The reason for their existence lost even to the systems that created them.
Pseudohuman presence here is sparse, but unmistakable. Abandoned or disrepaired infrastructure provides a home for sizeable burrows of Pseudos. Some have even formed a relationship with Daemons around them, agreeing to shares of land and resources.

Throne

Northern
Home of technological development, the largest single settlement in the known world. Throne is entrenched in Daemon territory, inexplicably unbothered. An organisation dedicated to technological and material appropriation and research, known as the OKOS, operates out of there. They seek to live alongside the Daemons, paracitising them without making themselves vulnerable.

Malnoviĝolando

[lit: "Country of Obselecence"]
A dumping ground for Daemon tech. Broken machines and waste from across the Eastern Continent end up here, where a thriving Pseudohuman community picks apart and salvages the remains.

La Grandaĝangalo

[lit: "the Great Jungle"]
Southern.
A vast, uncontrolled outbreak of greenrot. La Grandaĝangalo is thought to have been created generations ago when a Daemon terraforming system catasrophically malfunctioned, seeding a huge tract of land with the perfect conditions for greenrot to emerge, which eventually grew into a thick forest.
The trees here are far beyond anything else found across the continent, hundereds of meters tall and harder than shell.
Bordering the jungle are acrid salt plains, contructed by the Daemons to control the spread of greenlife. Few Daemon contructs exist near, but a single base is maintained several kilometers deep into the land.

Primary bureau of intelligence for the East Continent. OKOS has a hand in the management of most burrows within its reach, primarily through redistribution of resources, intelligence gathering, and direct action against the Daemons.

Platform Cities

Vast platforms anchored across the ocean, interlinked into communities. These peoples live primarily off of seaweed and nutrient rich algae, which they trade with outsiders. Due to the closed system nature of ocean platforms, they highly value reuse and recycling; everything from clothes to electronics is repaired and restored when possible.
Life on the ocean platforms is peaceful, far away from the reach of Daemons or Echos. The archologies are advanced and expansive, begging the question of why or how they were originally constructed.
